Whenever I Put on the revlon colorstay Foundation,
after about a few minutes my skin Looks dry and cakey.
Even after I moisturize!

Well, I have oily skin so I use the oily/combination skin version, which has a black top. It doesn't look dry on me at all (probably because I have oily skin, lol). Maybe mixing the moisturizer with the foundation would help. Or if you're using the dry skin version of the foundation then maybe you could switch to what I use. Hope that helped!

Is revlon Colorstay oily/combo foundation good?

Yes Revlon Colorstay oily/combo is AWESOME!!! I have used it for 10+ years. I use Clean and Clear Dual Action Oil Free moisturizer under it. I never have a problem with it lasting all day, especially when I lightly powder before applying the rest of my makeup and then again about half way through the day. That is the only time I touch up unless it is summer and very hot out then I use oil blotting papers when needed.Is revlon Colorstay oily/combo foundation good?

It's okay, I'd say. It stays on skin for a long time, which is pretty amazing. It actually can be kind of hard to wash off sometimes (scrub scrub scrub!)
But the sad thing is, it can cause breakouts. I've broken out a couple of times from this.
I liked Clinique Clarifying Makeup more.
It also has staying power, it controls shine and oil pretty good, and it hasn't ever broken me out in the 6 months I've been using it.
the best foundation is bare minerals wich is pricey if you are looking for something that is cheaper but will help your acne i would buy physicans forumula organic mineral foundtion its about 12 dollars you can buy it at any drugstore.
( revlon is not good foundation for acne skin, its only good for old aging skin)

It's not discontinued here in the US and I hope it doesn't! It's my favorite everyday foundation.

The coverage is very longlasting and it can also be difficult to wash off so invest in a good makeup remover along with a cleanser.
Revlon Colorstay Active Light Foundation is a tinted foundation which provides sheer coverage. This will probably be more natural looking, but if the Revlon Colorstay is applied properly and not ';caked'; on...it can also look natural. I believe that the active light foundation has a higher SPF.

I have it! I'm actually wearing it right now, as a matter of fact. I really, honestly, genuinely like it. And I usually don't like liquid foundations, so that's saying a lot.
I apply mine with my Sonia Kashuk beautyblender dupe. I got it at target... It's purple (but I think they come in blue as well) and it looks kind of like one of those marshmallow peeps that come out around eastertime. I think it was $10.
I use it the way this gal does in her video:

(get it wet, squeeze it out, foundation on back of hand, bounce it around on my face) and I get a fantastic, naturally flawless, airbrushed look every time. I kid you not. That little sponge is amazing.
I don't think it's hard to get off at all. I wash my face for about two minutes, twice a day (morning and night) with Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, and I've never had a problem getting it all off.
All in all, yeah, I'd recommend it. Definitely worth a try! Keep your receipt though, just in case you buy the wrong color.

to make it look more natural:
-make sure you have the right shade, test it on your jaw line, not your wrist.
-make sure your face is clean and moisturized for even application.
-chose your tool of choice(brushes, sponges, or your fingers).
-dampen it slightly.
-put a dot of foundation on your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin.
-blend into your hairline and Your neck.
-apply a powder with a kabuki brush to set it.
No, doesn't work. Use Everyday Minerals instead. Doesn't clog pores and is great for oily skin. Plus, you can get free samples online.
I've never tried it but I heard it's a good foundation.

I have an eyeshadow by revlon. it comes in a small compact and has 3 shades in it. a tan a gold and dark brown.
