Best way to apply Revlon Colorstay Foundation?

Not exactly sure what the best way to do this is..

I've heard with a sponge/with a brush.

I only have blusher brushes an I'm not sure if those can do the job. I also have my fingers, and makeup sponges I purchased for the first time today.

Please answer from your experience/knowledge!

Any help is appreciated!!

[I've been checking youtube for tutorials, but haven't found much help yet]

If you want to use a brush , only foundation brush will do or use the triangular wedge sponges.

Actually fingers give the most natural look , no wastage (slight stain on fingers only; removable by using vaseline/ milk cleanser/ oil cleanser.

Cleanse , tone and moisturize your face . Wash your hands with soap %26amp; water.

Pour a Singapore ten cent size portion of the liquid foundation on palm of hand . Use your middle and ring finger(joined together like chopsticks) dab foundation on forehead , length of nose %26amp; sides of nose , cheeks to jawline , chin to neck in a blending , downward motion. Pay attention to blend more carefully on the jawline to neck , blurring all the noticeable lines

This method makes facial hair less noticeable, giving a flawless look. (Important, choose the correct shade that is closest to actual skin tone in natural sun light)

Biore oil cleanser is the best to remove Revlon colorstay foundation, then use your normal cleanser , toner %26amp; moisturizer.Best way to apply Revlon Colorstay Foundation?
I use the same foundation and this is how I do it,

1. Take your foundation and dab some on your hand.

2. Take a sponge and gently DIP it into the foundation using the flat side.

3. Lightly ';blot'; it on your face all over. Do not rub it in yet just blot.

4. Now slowly blend it into your face!

This method uses the stippling effect if you do not have a proper brush for that and it also helps save the product since you are blotting it on. Start with a little first. It's always easier to add more then to take away. Good luck.
I use cosmetic wedges that can be purchased from any drugstore. They spread foundation very well and I've been complimented numerously for having flawless skin. (I don't have flawless skin but the wedges help me spread/blend my make up evenly which gives the illusion of having perfect skin).

I've heard foundation brushes are good also. They are a bit pricey but it's worth buying I think. :)
i do have makeup knowledge! i would not apply with your hands! even washing or germ x wont get all the germs off! also! with your hands you are rubbing the foundation into you skin which you dont want to do! you just want to cover on top of your skin not in it cause any foundation will cloge your pores! also i dont like using sponges! sponges you have to throw away after one use which wastes alot of money! so my favorite use is with a foundation brush! the good things about foundation brush is that it doesnt clog pores or anything like that! also you can wash them over and over! you can purchase them at a few places.

1.) target- target is alot cheaper then teh websites but it doesnt last as long. hers the link.

2.)MAC mac has some of the best brushes! they last long and are realy high quality! exept they are very expesive! http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

3.) sigma doesnt have a foundation brush single! this isnt like the other foundation brushes but this is another brush you can use. personally i like the foundation brush better! but u can use this as a cheaper alternative! http://sigmamakeup.com/products/706.html

4.) my personal opinion! i dont think you should buy any of the above brushes! PERSONALLY! i mean why spend 32 dollars for one mas brush or 10 for one that wont last long? my person opinion is to go with this face kit set! it has 5 brushes for 39 dollars! heres the link http://sigmamakeup.com/products/702.html鈥?/a>

so i hope i helped! please make me best answer!
I prefer foundation brushes, you could also use a stippling (skunk) brush but if you have to choose between fingers and sponge I'd say fingers. Sponges soak up make-up so you'll be wasting some product, just make sure to wash your hands well so that you don't get any dirt or oil on your face.

i use a ';skunk'; brush for my foundation!
