Yes, it has coverage comparable to Estee Lauder's DoubleWear. If you use a light hand, and get an excellent color match you shouldn't have a problem with a cakey look. Color is the key. As with any long wearing formula you will have to cleanse extra carefully at night. Use a cream makeup remover (or even Noxema) to wipe it off, then follow that with your regular cleansing routine. Otherwise you'll just be moving that makeup around on your face and you'll end up with clogged pores and bad skin. Does revlon colorstay foundation has good coverage ?
I just bought this makeup and i like it :) i found just the right shade for me


The problem is it does dry in 60 seconds so you have to be quick when applying and apply on one area at a time. You have to moisturize your skin before using this foundation (for me anyways, because I have pretty dry skin). Then it wont look cakey. You could also use a foundation primer (clear liquid, works the same way: preps skin for foundation application). If you have acne prone skin, like I do, you need the concealer to go with it cause it doesn't cover over blemishes very well. But for overall coverage its nice and very longlasting!
it does stay on pretty long(i have oily skin so usually my makeup comes off in an hour) but it is very matte so its cakey even if you mix it with a moisturizer.

a lot of people say that some make up looks cakey but really it doesn't matter on the brand its just how much you out on any makeup is going to last almost a day and will give you as much coverage as you put on.
I would recommend Bobby Brown makeup, it`s very good, and not to expensive.
